According to the district administration, approximately ₹31.20 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of eligible pension beneficiaries.
The pension amount was released as part of a state-level programme conducted through video conferencing. Senior officials and pension beneficiaries joined the programme from the Gopalganj Collectorate meeting hall. District Magistrate Samir Saurabh and other senior officials were also present during the programme.
