Chhapra, Bihar News: Jai Prakash University (JPU) has announced the recruitment of six Guest and Part-Time Teachers for the academic session 2026-27 under its Self-Finance Vocational Courses. The university will conduct a walk-in interview on September 30, 2026, for eligible candidates

According to Advertisement No. JPU/VOC/2026-27/02, the appointments will be made on a completely temporary basis for the remaining period of the 2026-27 academic session.

Six Guest Teacher Posts Available at JPU The vacancies have been announced for BCA, BBA and B.Sc. Biotechnology courses at different constituent colleges affiliated with Jai Prakash University. The six posts are distributed as follows:

• Rajendra College, Chhapra: One BCA and one BBA post
• Ganga Singh College, Chhapra: One BCA, one BBA and one B.Sc. Biotechnology post
• DAV College, Siwan: One BCA post

The university has stated that the number of posts is provisional and may be increased or decreased depending on academic requirements.

JPU Guest Teacher Eligibility Criteria-Candidates applying for the posts must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognised university or institution. The required qualifications will be considered as per the applicable UGC norms.

The documents must be emailed at least two days before the interview date. Candidates will also have to produce their original certificates and documents at the time of the interview.

JPU Guest Teacher Recruitment 2026 Appointment Will Be Completely Temporary – Jai Prakash University has clarified that the appointment will be purely temporary and will remain valid only for the remaining part of the academic session 2026-27. Selected candidates will have to join their respective posts within seven days of receiving the appointment letter.

The university has also stated that absence from duty may result in a proportionate deduction in remuneration. The appointment will not create any right or claim for regular appointment or regularisation in the university.

JPU Guest Teacher Recruitment 2026 No TA/DA for Interview-Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview will not be entitled to any Travelling Allowance or Dearness Allowance (TA/DA) for attending the selection process.
